Dear Committee,
Our Camtools site and Wiki will be launched this coming Thursday!
This site will form the basis of our work and our discussions.
It is available online at
https://camtools.caret.cam.ac.uk/portal
You should all be able to log in using your usual cs id and password using
the raven system.
Please do put your comments on the site itself! There is plenty of
information there that can usefully be updated. If you prefer to send an
email do so to: camtools at zerocarbonnow.org
WIKI
There are some proposals for working groups (please feel free to comment on
the discussion board, or make additions on the wiki).
Then there is a section for current information.
This includes issues that need to be resolved asap (this will form the
Monday agenda), a section for events and notices (to be sent out on the next
email list, and an place for current information.
Please both add new information and delete information that is out of date.
Then there is a section for administrative information. This includes
contact details of other groups that may be able to publicise our events, a
list of venues, a proposed schedule for committee meetings and some online
resources that may be of use.

RESOURCES
There is a place to store files that are of relevance to everyone. At
present the previous committee meeting minutes are stored here. When
information is in a final form, this is an ideal place to store anything of
common interest. There is the potential to create folders.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
This will be a place where we make announcements about the society. For
current and upcoming events please see the online calendar and the Events
and Notices part of the Wiki.
DISCUSSION
Please let us know what you think about the site, about the proposed Wiki
titles and about our progress as a society! Thanks! There is also a chat room
for when we are all online at the sametime. We may use this for committee
meetings on Mondays (e.g. at 3pm).
Please let us know what you think! And please do feel free to update the
Wikis. That is what they are there for! If everyone can make one small
modification or improvement, soon we will have a wealth of useful
information.
Best Regards,
Steve
