Ok, seeing as it seems noone else is keen, I'll book the dinner, so please
could you all email back saying a) whether you would in principle like to
come (weds 29th currently favoured date) and b) roughly how much money you'd
be willing to spend so I have an idea what sort of place to book.

Hi everyone,

Would anyone like to organise the society Christmas dinner?  This should be
quite easy to do as it should just involve choosing a pub or restaurant
which does christmas dinners, finding out numbers and booking a table.

The role of social secretary is still open, and would involve doing things
like this and organising film nights etc, so if anyone would like to take it
on please let me (or Steve or Anna) know.  In the meantime though, please
let us know if you could just organise the dinner.
