Just phoned the Granta (also does good food) and they said their menu is
about £12 and don't have to pay in advance so I'll call tomorrow when their
manager is in to check details before emailing Camlist.

FYI, the Maypole can't take us on weds as they have Johns choir in then.

All, Please find enclosed details of the Christmas Dinner.

(N.B. Coordination@ no longer exists. Committee@ now refers only to active
committee members.)

Nicky: Stephen won't be back then, as far as I know.

I think we should invite Camlist, asking who would be interested in going
for an end of term meal. That way we should have numbers by say Monday.

It would be nice to have a Christmas dinner, but Panton Arms seems a bit
complicated - I won’t be in Cambridge until Monday evening. If there aren't
any other pubs doing a simpler deal, then I guess we could go for a normal
meal on that Wednesday. But there must be somewhere that is a little easier!

Hi everyone,

The Panton Arms (by chem department) is doing Xmas dinner with the following
menu for £13.95:

Prawn Cocktail
Turkey with chipolatas, stuffing veg etc
Trifle

They said they can do a veggie option though I haven't checked yet what it
is.

Is everyone happy with this menu/price etc? Food at panton generally v good
homecooked etc so it should be nice.

Currently I have the following people wanting to go:

Marc
Maki
Gunnar
Steve
Anna
Pablo

Shall I also assume Stephen wants to come?
Who on this list is veggie?
Also, we discussed the idea of inviting the whole camlist (assuming not many
will reply) so do you want to do this or not?

I'm going away for the weekend as of tomorrow lunchtime and they need the
booking 3 days in advance + it says they want 25% of price on the day of
booking and 50% more the day before. So can you all reply to the above
questions ASAP. Any ideas for sorting out payments? Is anyone else around
this weekend who might be able to make the booking as I won't be here and I
don't think we can have it fixed by tomorrow lunchtime...?

OR if this all sounds too complicated, can I make the suggestion of just
going out for a normal meal in a restaurant/pub given it's not actually
christmas yet anyway!

Let me know what you think and if you could help out ASAP.

Cheers,
Nicky
