Here is some information on the Camtools (old) Wiki, which I think we should
continue to update with administrative information to avoid excessive
emails!
We may want to continue using the Camtools wiki, for the time being since
it's good for editing administrative information in a controlled
environment.
Our Camtools Wiki can contain all the information about our future events in
a form accessible from our website and copy/pasteable into our emails.
To add information to the wiki.
First click the editable version of the wiki on our website.
Then you need to login using Raven and your usual id.
You should get into the main Camtools page. There are a number of options
(discussion etc).
The Wiki can be edited by clicking 'edit'.
The markup language is as follows:
[link] for internal links
H1 header for large header etc.
~~italic~~ for italic text
__bold__ for bold text.
To add an additional page, first edit the main page and add [New link].
Then save the page. Finally click 'New Link': this will bring up a new page
to edit.
Before leaving a new page, please ensure that it is fully editable and
viewable by clicking 'info' and ensuring that all of the tick boxes are
selected.
-------------------
I'm a bit unsure why you are having problems: you can email
camtools at caret.cam.ac.uk with problems, and they would be happy to help.
Best wishes,
Steve
