Hello everyone,
The website is now complete and live. A shorter address: http://zcarb.org.uk
(zcarb.net also ok). Any more comments are appreciated before we advertise
more widely.
There's an EEC on Wednesday at 7pm. It would be good if someone could go
along - CUSU Green can link us in to a national campaign after the exams for
more stringent targets! We can do it!!!
On the Wiki front, I think it is worth having a tool with the functionality
of mediawiki.
It looks like it's possible in the future to integrate wordpress and
mediawiki, both in terms of appearance, content and logins. But it's not
easy and we should wait until we have more IT resource before doing this. In
the meantime, lets use both - first priority to clean up the wiki and add
user friendly information. Please dig in and have a go, don't be afraid to
delete or mover stuff - its a collaborative effort! Priority is to put
together something on the Climate Bill Consultation
http://www.defra.gov.uk/corporate/consult/climatechange-bill/
As a first step, I suggest everyone registers on our website
http://www.zerocarbonnow.org/wordpress/wp-login.php?action=register and wiki
http://www.zerocarbonnow.org/wiki/index.php?title=Special:Userlogin&type=signup&returnto=Main_Page.
It may be better to use the same user_id and password to prevent confusion.
Any meeting this week?
All the best,
Steve
