Subject: Committee on Climate Change - Shadow Secretariat's
Call for Evidence
All,
The Shadow Secretariat for the Committee on Climate Change's 'Call for
Evidence' is now live on the Defra website - it set's out the role of
CCC, explains why the shadow secretariat has already been set-up, and
poses 8 questions relevant to our 8 workstreams.
http://www.defra.gov.uk/environment/climatechange/uk/legislation/committee/index.htm
We are going to be following this up with a targeted email to
organisations that responded to the Climate Change Bill consultation -
publicising the opportunity. Details of how to respond and the
questions are available on the Defra website. The deadline for
responses is 18 Jan 2008.
Feel free to forward to anyone well placed to respond.
Thanks,
Edward
