Hi everyone,

sorry can't make it tonight; here's some info to pass on:

to administer the webspace on the srcf (for "czcs" -
http://www.srcf.ucam.org/czcs ) each administrator needs to register for
an srcf account http://www.srcf.ucam.org

need more administrators please! (at present it's just me, best to have
at least two in case of forgotten passwords etc.)
http://www.srcf.ucam.org/socs/socjoin.html we just need to email the
srcf admins to add new admins to the czcs webspace. if people send me
their srcf id's i can email the admins to add new admins to the webspace.

past uses for this webspace include beta-testing for site-structure, it
may be useful for beta-testing (especially of php or database-related
stuff so as not to mess up working site's database stuff) or faster
access or just as a backup for the www.zerocarbonnow.org site. we are
not charged for the site or for traffic but of course massive traffic is
a no-no. unfortunately due to srcf rules, accounts are available to
current university members only.

on a separate point, as a registered society we can get free university
society webspace (which has very limited functionality i.e. no php, cgi
or mysql) and a link from the university societies directory. best to
decide which website we want the link to go to before we ask!
http://www.cam.ac.uk/cambuniv/socinfo/ and society webpages have the
form http://www.societies.cam.ac.uk/cuacs/ (for example) perhaps this
might be good for additional publicity.

would love to see minutes of discussion! maki
