Guys, Al Gore's coming to Cambridge and none of us knew. This seems to be
invitaional only though, but the U8 thing on Global governance might be
worth it. I'll try to figure out when it is.

True. Still though, might it be an idea to liaise over events a bit more in
the future?

for example one event that might interest you guys (and it would be
wonderful to collaborate) is a U8 Open debate on Global Governance of the
Environment. The conclusions of this meeting will be conveyed to major
leaders in business, govt, education, religion etc as in late March I am
attending a Climate Change Solutions training program being led by Al Gore.

i've attached the invite i received for the Al Gore event, you'll see on
the last page the names of people attending. i'm sure you'd agree that it's
great opportunity for Cambridge students to have their views heard by major
players, who can really effect change.
