I think we should go with the idea we discussed at the meeting of showing it
in the McCrum lecture theatre on monday 29th Jan. The room is free and
already booked so it would require minimal organisation, just email
publicity.

If you want to go ahead and show it in Churchill for the college then I
don't see why we shouldn't do both.

Subject: [Committee] Al Gore's movie at Churchill college

Hi everyone,

I asked the person in charge of the projection room for the cinema at
Churchill College (Wolfson room) about licensing rules to show An
Inconvenient Truth by playing the DVD that I have (bought on Amazon, not an
illegal copy). He said there is no problem if the event is free of charge,
which is OK as far as I'm concerned, in fact it will attract more people. I
now intend to get in touch with the guy who runs our college film society
to ask him for help in publicising the event in college. I don't know how
much we want to advertise this particular showing event in other colleges
though: the room might be filled up with people from my college and those
from our mailing list, and we might also want to run the same kind of event
in other colleges later, to have several college local events rather than
one big event harder to control. What do you think? Would you attend? And
what date do you think would be best?

Pablo
