I am enclosing a rough draft of what I intend to send.
I have found it difficult to address the Treasury Committee *on their brief*,
which is quite specific. At the moment I'm not happy with this draft, because
it lacks a coherent sequence of the argument. I will merge a couple of the
points and reorder. Many of the points are really points to direct straight
to The Government, which sets policy in this area.
I am going to visit Professor MacKay now to talk about a 50GW power station
I am architecting(!), and will be back after lunch to do the edits and
any you suggest, to send it off by 5pm.
