Lesley and Michael Jones outlined Zero Carbon Village concept.
Group consists of 4 people. Warbuys has 3000 people. They have installed 12
Wind turbines
Had Event on Nuclear/Alternative Energy with Dr Jason Palmer. Architecture.
Interaction with Chris Jerblonski at Hutinigdon District Council
Maybe we should swap experience between Huntingdon and Cambridge? CAMACAG to
ensure contacts are made
Also noted Histon and Impington Climate CHange Action (HICCA)

1) CAMPAIGN IN LONDON

   - Get Children involved. Important to be Artistic and Positive.
   Community Artists. Arts Council. Widen to other villages. Date is Saturday
   27th October. Lesley to plan children's interaction; liaise with Steve


2) PANEL EVENT INCLUDING COLIN CHALLEN

   - Going ahead. Steve to Liaise with Colin. Marc etc to invite Chris
   Rapley, Kevin Anderson, Marc: Tim Helweg-Larsen etc.


3) OPEN LETTER TO GORDON BROWN

   - Needs a draft. Gunnar and Steve to investigate?
   - Elizabeth to help with contacts?
   - Wine and Cheese at 1 Parker St? Thursday 25th too soon?

Lesley to investigate links with Millibands. Also Tim Jervis (Cambridge
Energy Forum) may have contacts with Millibands.

Need to Contact Governors of Schools

Royston link - Phillip to follow up?
Cambridge County Council - may accerpt leafleting? Free Educational
Material. Possible


6) FUNDING

Forms outlined.
Awareness raising a possible goal.
Forms need to be filled in and sent to council.
Camacag/Zero Carbon both could apply for funding - advantages in each.

PROPOSAL
Funding to to Cambridge City Council to pay for design and printing cost for
leaflets outlining the impacts of our current carbon footprint and the
future of the planet if adopted as a model of development for the whole
world.
