Hi,
I had to give a blurb to the people from the environmental week, here is
what I gave them, please change it as you see fit, I'll send that revised
version tonight, otherwise they use this one:
The Zero Carbon Society tries to find, promote and implement ways to
decarbonise our society in light of the threat from anthropogenic climate
change. We believe that this can be done in ways that will even improve our
lifestyle. Our approach to the problem is inclusive, as we will require the
involvement of every part of society. Our aim of achieving a 90% reduction
in CO2 emissions by 2030 can only be realised by an inclusive approach. This
term, our focus will be on the UK climate bill and the need to make it more
stringent.
Steve, can you confirm that Terry Barker will join the Panel? Tim will come
back to me today, and I'll chase Peter Cox. Kevin Anderson looks like a no.
Haven't had any answers yet for the squash room.
Marc
