Dear Committee 2006/7 and 7/8,
I am now doing the accounts for 2006/7, somewhat late.
Does the below seem about right?

We started with £0.
We got £75 from a grant from the societies syndicate.
We got £1000 from a grant from the education syndicate.
We received £150 in membership dues.
We got £140 in money from talks
We spent £315 on costs including
	£200 on rooms
	£75 on food and drink
	£40 on publicity and other expenditures

We ended with £1050, including £40 in Cash and £1010 in Deposits at the bank
